Together we made history and gave hope: On 11 May 2025, the world record attempt was a resounding success! With an official count of 507 original MIFA folding bikes, the “Longest Klappi Chain in the World” became reality – and raised awareness in the fight against childhood dementia. 🚴♂️
Organised by endurance athlete Jan Hähnlein and supported by TREUENBURG, the event drew hundreds of passionate cyclists to Thüringen Park Erfurt – not just to chase a record, but to support the NCL Foundation and children suffering from the rare and fatal disease NCL. 💖
As part of the record-breaking day, TREUENBURG donated €8,000 to the NCL Foundation. CEO and Board Member Danny Weigel emphasized the importance of social responsibility beyond business – especially when children’s lives and futures are at stake. 🎗️
With good vibes, refreshments, music and pure (N)ostalgia on two wheels, the event was an unforgettable experience. Every pedal stroke made a difference – and every rider helped write a story of solidarity and support.
