Violence, bullying and sexual assault are still taboo subjects for many people – especially when children are affected. Fear and shame go hand in hand with feelings of helplessness and powerlessness. Who can I talk to about it? Who can help me? What can I do?
The child and youth protection service “HAUT-NAH” of Erfurter MitMenschen e.V. is a trustworthy point of contact for these difficult issues. The free service is aimed not only at those affected and their relatives, but also at teachers, educators and carers. Counselling and concrete help are combined with information and prevention work.
Together with TREUENBURG, “HAUT-NAH” has found a new home and perfectly suited premises at Marktstraße 2 in Erfurt – right in the centre of the Thuringian state capital.
However, we value MitMenschen not “just” as a tenant. We are united by our desire to do something good for children and young people in our home region. That is why we support the important work of the organisation through our in-house foundation “Kinderfreuden”.
