Erfurt, 07 February 2025 – The fleet of the St. Elisabeth & St. Bonifatius Catholic kindergarten in Erfurt’s Hochheim district is growing: A brand-new children’s bus with space for six children will soon be rolling through Hochheim. The ceremonial handover of the vehicle was carried out by the N+L Kinderfreuden foundation. The symbolic donation check was presented by Linh Vu Thi from the foundation, Member of the European Parliament Marion Walsmann (MEP), and Michael Hose, candidate for the German Bundestag and chairman of the CDU faction in the Erfurt city council.
The event also provided a perfect opportunity to tour the kindergarten facilities. The guests were particularly impressed by the friendly, light-flooded design of the rooms, the well-thought-out connection between play and quiet zones, and the spacious, inviting outdoor area.
Over homemade cake – prepared with the active support of the children – the guests exchanged views with Father Mateusz Kandzia and the acting head of the facility, Benjamin Gloria. Under his leadership, with new staff and fresh ideas, the daycare center is developing positively and is well integrated into the community.
The visitors’ conclusion was thoroughly positive: “A fantastic kindergarten with a compelling concept. We are thrilled that this new vehicle will bring new adventures and opportunities to the children.”
The Erfurt-based TREUENBURG Group, a real estate and venture capital investor, supports N+L Kinderfreuden und Ferienfreizeit gGmbH as part of a strategic cooperation. Their common goal is to support children, young people, and disadvantaged youth in Thuringia with what they need most urgently – and with what can bring them joy.
“There is no better investment than in the children of our homeland – for they are our future. We take responsibility for the society in which we live,” says Linh Vu Thi.
