Erfurt, 14 June 2024 – TREUENBURG proudly presents the second attempt at the “Longest Folding Bike Snake in the World”. We are looking for as many folding bikes of the GDR cult brand “Mifa” as possible. The current record stands at 368, and project organiser Jan Hähnlein hopes that more than five hundred will be collected in the end – and we firmly believe that this will happen!
However, the event is about much more than world records, a party atmosphere and a good dose of nostalgia: donations are being collected for the NCL Foundation, which is committed to the fight against fatal paediatric dementia.
Childhood dementia is a metabolic disease that has been little researched to date. It is incurable, progresses inexorably and leads to an early death. The NCL Foundation is committed to national and international research funding in order to give children affected by NCL the prospect of therapies and cures that are still lacking. A cause that is close to our hearts and that we are therefore very happy to support.
When? – 16/06/2024 – from 11 am
Where – Thüringen Park shopping centre in Erfurt (meeting point: Fahrrad Riese)
Why? For a world without the deadly childhood dementia
Food and drink and a colourful supporting programme will of course also be provided. All information about the campaign can be found here: Facebook
