The little cuddly dogs are given to children who find themselves in exceptional emotional situations – whether during medical service operations, in emergency pastoral care or in the ‘Seelentröster’ children’s bereavement group.
The feedback from Johanniter has been overwhelmingly positive: the ‘comfort animals’ provide closeness and security and bring a smile to children’s faces in difficult moments.
Through N&L Kinderfreuden, we are able to specifically support projects like this and thus give children in difficult situations a little comfort and security.
